The ‘What’ and “Why’ of The Horsley Calendar.

There’s SO MUCH going on locally, but getting the word out can be a bit of a challenge. We’ve started The Horsley Calendar to be a one stop shop for everything that’s happening and our hope is that, over time, people will come to know about the page and will head here to find out what’s going on.

Subscribers can browse events, filter by category and sign up to be kept up to date with any changes to events they are interested in.

We will charge for events if they are ‘for profit’ (see here for our price structure) and event organisers can be Users who take responsibility for maintaining their own events, (ask us for a login). If you want to add an event but cannot add it yourself, or want us to do the admin, the price that we charge will reflect that.

If your event or organisation is not for profit, we’ll gladly include it without charge - though we will ask you for a donation towards our costs if you need us to do the admin.

How it Works

    List your event for free

    If you would like us to add your event or maintain a schedule of your events on an ongoing basis, we’ll ask you for a suggested donation to cover our admin costs.

  • For Profit

    List your events for a fee - which we trust you’ll agree is reasonable! If you’d like us to add your event or maintain a schedule of your events the fee will be a bit higher.

  • Adding your event...

    Choose how you would like to proceed: Ask us for a login to become a User and add your own events or complete this form with the details we need and we’ll do it for you.

What we need to know & how we charge

The first thing to do is decide how you would like to get your event added…

Self-Serve (lowest price) - If you are happy to add or maintain your own events, ask us for a User login and you can add and maintain your own events. Our users can choose to be kept up to date with the events you add (or change), and your entry can direct visitors to find out more or book directly with you. If your organisation or your event is not-for-profit there is no charge for inclusion. If your organisation or your event is for profit you can see our fees here. Supported - perhaps your event is a one-off, or you do not have enough time to manage your own event listings here. If you would like us to add or maintain your listing we will suggest a donation (if you are a not for profit) or charge you a (slightly) higher fee if you are are a for profit.
